Our Senior Consultant, Principal, and Founder, Matthew Savino, has over twenty years of progressive Business and Human Resources experience as a Director and Vice-President of Human Resources in a number of Canadian and International companies.

Matthew’s industry experience includes manufacturing, mining & aggregates, oil & gas, engineering, consulting, sales, consumer goods, professional services, technical services, and laboratory sciences. His proven track-record of success throughout the full spectrum of human resource leadership encompasses, but is not limited to: Recruitment & Selection processes, Total Compensation planning, Leadership Development programs, Succession Planning, Organizational Structure redesigns, and the hands-on implementation of Performance Management systems.

Related assignments have included the analysis and complete restructuring and integration of Group Benefit, Retirement Savings Plans and associated HR Policies across several companies and business units. Matthew has extensive experience in Union Negotiations (Collective Bargaining), Grievance & Arbitration management as well as Mediation. He has several clients in private industry as well as in public-sector administration.

Matthew holds degrees in Economics (B.A.) and Law (LL.B.) as well as certificates in Dispute Resolution & Mediation, and is a certified Leadership Development Trainer. Matthew is a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPAO) and is one of a small number of Practitioners currently certified as a Senior Human Resources Professional by that Association. He acts as an HR Advisor to, and is also a member of, a small number of Boards of Directors in the province of Ontario, and has acted as an Adjunct Professor at the University level.
